Bio

Coach Smith is a graduate of Clovis West High School where he was a memeber of the 2004 Valley Championship Team.  He accepted a scholorship to Clemson University, and was a member of their program during the 2006 season.  Following the 2006 season, he returned home to Fresno and joined the Fresno City Baseball program.  Coach Smith was key member of the 2007 Fresno City Baseball team who finished the season ranked #1 in NorCal, and #3 in the State. In addtion to earning All-American Honors, he was drafted in the 3rd round of the MLB draft by the Florida Marlins.  Coach Smith signed with the Marlins to begin his professional career.
