MALIK WHITE NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sophomore wide receiver awarded NCFC honor.
FRESNO, Calif.- Fresno City sophomore wide receiver Malik White has been named the Northern California Football Conference (NCFC) National Division Offensive Player of the Week. White, who leads the team in receptions this season, scored three touchdowns this past week in the team's 33-28 win over the College of the Siskiyous. The Fresno native and former Central HS standout, scored on all three of his receptions, recording 48 yards receiving on the day. This performance comes on the heels of another strong performance by White last week against American River, where he recorded 104 yards on six receptions, and one touchdown.
Fresno City football improved to 3-2 on the year following the Rams two game winning streak. They look to extend that streak to three games this Saturday, when they play host to visiting San Joaquin Delta. Kickoff for Saturday's contest is scheduled for 1 PM.
