Bio

Haley Janzer enters her forth season as the Fresno City College head coach.  While the first two years were Covid impacted, she still led the Rams to back to back CVC Championship in 2021 and 2022, with multiple All-Conference, All-NorCal, and All-State award winners.    Prior to FCC, Janzer has been an assistant coach with Fresno State, Fresno City College, and Clovis West. She was also the interim head coach at FCC in 2014, and spent a year in Paso Robles as the PRHS head softball coach.
 
Janzer’s collegiate playing career was at Fresno State, where she is still on the Bulldogs’ all-time lists for career batting average (.359, 6th), hits (283, 6th), runs (189, 4th), triples (13, 8th) and stolen bases (28, 9th).As an infielder for the ’Dogs, Janzer was a three-time first-team all-conference selection and four-time academic all-conference recipient.  
 
Janzer obtained her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in December 2009, followed by her master’s in sport psychology in 2012 from Fresno State. In addition to coaching softball, Coach Janzer also teaches health and physical education classes at Fresno City College, both in-person and online.
 
Coach Haley Janzer is married to her husband, Justin, who is a football coach, and Special Education teacher. The Janzer’s have two daughters: Sadie and Quinn.
