Bio

Arick Xiong has been an assistant Badminton Coach at Fresno City College since 2016. Coach Arick came to the United States in 1992, he is originally from Laos and he is trilingual, he speaks Lao, Thai and English.

He graduated from Fresno State in 2002 with a BA in Industrial Business. He continued his education and received a MS degree in Marriage, Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix in 2016. Arick is currently working as a Rehabilitation Counselor in Fresno.

Previously, Arick spent 3 years as an Assistant coaching at Sunnyside High School and 2 years coaching at Buchannan High School before coming to FCC as an Assistant coach.

Coach Arick’s focus is on court strategy and player positioning.
