High School Fall Jamboree a Big Hit

Our Women’s Basketball Program hosted the annual High School Basketball Fall Jamboree on Saturday, October 14. We had 31 teams participate. Not only did we have our local area teams, we also had teams from Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Atwater, Merced, and Bakersfield. All in all, it was a great turnout. It gave teams an opportunity to play against programs they normally don’t see during the regular season. It also gave the coaches one last chance to evaluate their teams prior to the start of official practice.

The FCC Women’s Basketball Team did a great job as they had to work the jamboree the entire day. It’s always important the high school players get a chance to see the dedication required of our players in order to have a first class program. Without the efforts of the FCC players, the Jamboree would not have been as successful as it was.
