Women's Softball Volunteers during Relay for Life Event
Fresno City College's own Women's Softball Team served as volunteers during last week's 24-hour Relay for Life fundraiser. The fundraiser aimed to raise money towards cancer research, and served as an opportunity for the community to honor those their loved ones that were lost to cancer, but also to celebrate those that survived as well.
In addition to the 24-hour round the clock walking, people also participated in other fun activities!
During the event, Women's Softball faced off against the Men's Baseball team in a classic game of Whiffle Ball!
Each of the lights on the bleachers represent loved ones who were lost to cancer.
All in all, the event was a huge success, and we are sincerely grateful to all who participated!
Thank you!
