Coast Conference Champioships:
The RAMS are on the top of their game. During the Coast conference Championships at De-Anza college in Cupertino, the ladies RAMS had made a great impression. They finished 3rd overall in the conference, with multiple first places. In Women Pole Vault, Mckenzie Sheperd a Freshman set the bare at 3.00m, and became the Coast Conference champion. With this performance, Mckenzie will move on to Norcal Championships, hoping to reproduce the same effort. Then, it was Jocelyn Wilson who took first in women Long Jump 5.24m, followed by her teammate Destiny Smith second with the same mark . Later in the Triple jump, Meantime, in the Hammer throw, Jennifer Martinez-Morales took the second place with 41.78m. The ladies RAMS were present where they are expected. After couple hours of rest, Jocelyn Wilson joins her teammates Desiree Hernandez, Jaiden Jones in the Women Javelin Throw. couple minutes passing by, and the results are in Jocelyn Wilson 2nd with a throw of 30.90m, Desiree Hernandez 3rd, (30.17m) and Jaiden Jones 5th, (29.60m). The day continued with runners, where Sarah Sidibe finished 8th in 400m dash clocking at 1:03.20. Then an hour later she ran 400m Hurdles, with a time of1:10:49. In the 100m Hurdles, Jaiden Jones continued to improve for her Heptathlon finishing 3rd with a time of 15.90. After a week of rehabilitation due to ankle problem, the freshman Jorgina Lazcano strongly finished 3rd in 3000m steeplechace (13:15.25). The 4x100m Relay team did not disappoint, they finishing 5th, with a time of 50.33. They are all ready For the NorCal Championships (May 4th).
