The Fresno City College volleyball team is headed back to the state tournament.
The fifth-seeded Rams punched their ticket with a four-set victory over No. 4 Monterey Peninsula — 19-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-23 — during the CCCAA regionals on Saturday.
The Rams will now advance to the state tournament at Folsom Lake College, set for Dec. 5-7.
This marks a return to the state tournament for head coach Kieran Roblee and the Rams, who finished as state runner-up last season.
Fresno City will look to capture its first state title since 2021.
