As a player at Fresno City College in 1998 and 1999 Coach Flores was a member of back to back Conference Championship teams for the Rams. Coach Flores served as the Head Baseball Coach at Hoover High School from 2009-2015. He earned a BA in Physical Education from CSU Stanislaus, and earned his MA in Kinesiology-Physical Education from Fresno Pacific University in June 2017.

During the 2018 season, "Coach Flo" will work primarily with the outfielders as a position coach. He resides in Fresno with his fiancé Andrea Hall, daughter Claire Hall, and a son Cal Flores. When not on the baseball field, Coach Flo is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with family.

“Coach Flo has really energized the coaching staff in the two years he's been on our staff. He is working with the outfielders and is the lead recruiter for the Rams. He was just what we needed: a young, motivated, and hard working coach. The players just love him. ” – Ron Scott
