Bio

Benedictus Azali has been an assistant coach at Fresno City College since 2004. He is originally from West Sumatera, Indonesia and came to the United States in 1983. He attended Fresno State University and earned a BS and MS degree in Industrial Technology.
Coach Bene began playing badminton at the age of 14. He trained for 5 years with the national team in Indonesia before deciding to continue his education in the US. Coach Azali won numerous tournaments in both Singles and Doubles between 1990 and 2007.
Currently, Coach Bene works for Fresno County, is an adjunct instructor at FCC and the Badminton Head Coach at Buchanan High School.
