Central Valley Conference Championships 2021
The ladies RAMS finish 4th in Central Valley Conference Championships with just 3 athletes.
Central Valley Conference Championships:
The Central Valley Conference Championships was hosted by Modesto Junior College on May 21st and the ladies RAMS had made a great impact in this unprecedented time. Despite that the team was decimated by the pandemic, and the ladies Rams did not have the full team in every discipline they did not shy from performances. They competed fearlessly and finished 4th overall with only 3 athletes. Lilian Lor the sophomore took the Central Valley Conference title in Long Jump with the season best landing in the pit with a mark of 4m87 and 6th in 100m with a time of 13.30. Whereas in the 100m Trinity Toews finished 3rdwith her personal best 12.70 and took the second place in the 200m with a mark of 26.50. she could not match her previous time of 25.56 a week prior which constituted her personal best.
In 800m, Betzabe Bautista-Castro took 5th place with a time of 2:55.06 and in the 1500m 8th with a time of 6:04.67.
With these performances, these athletes (Lor, Toews and Bautista-Castro) are moving on to the Norcal Championships at San Mateo College schedule this week May 28th.
