2021 State Norcal Player Of The Week, #6 Diamond'nique Young

Young leads the state in attack percentage at an impressive .511 as she is a big reason why Fresno won its 14th consecutive Central Valley Conference Title. Young, who averages 3.36 kills per set, is tied for 14th in total blocks (65). In the teams regular season finale last week, she scored 11 kills and hit .600 in a win over Merced. In an October 23rd match v. state #1 Feather River, she posted her season-high of 20 kills, hit .471 and added 6 blocks. A transfer, Diamond'nique played her frosh season in 2019 as an All-RMAC 2nd Team selection at NCAA Division II Colorado State U, Pueblo.
