FCC Players Enjoy the Beach While Participating in the Ventura College Jamboree

On the Weekend of September 23 & 24, the Fresno City College Women’s Basketball Team enjoyed a weekend at the beach in Ventura, while playing in a College Jamboree. We only played our Freshmen as we wanted to give them as much playing time as possible in order to give them game experience. We played a total of 4 games in which we won all of them. More importantly, we were able to look at our strengths and weaknesses in order to be better prepared once official practice begins. It also gave our team an opportunity to bond as we get ready for a journey that hopefully ends at the State Tournament. Our players were extremely excited to spend some time at the beach. The weather was fantastic, therefore the players enjoyed themselves as they eventually made their way into the ocean.
